YOU WEST MIDLANDS YOUTH AWARD
YOU West Midlands, working in partnership with Dudley Council, are proud to announce a new award which will recognise the hard work and achievements of young people in Dudley borough. The inaugural award, for children and young people aged up to 18, will be presented at the Mayor's Ball and Civic Awards on Friday 19 April.

This award is in memory of Ben Corfield, who tragically lost his life in November 2022, aged 19. Ben was an active member in the community, having been chair of Dudley Youth Council and Dudley's youth member of parliament, and ran for the position of Dudley's youth police and crime commissioner. Ben also volunteered at the Black Country Wellbeing Centre and was an active Street Watch member.
Do you know a child or young person who goes above and beyond in their community? Help us to recognise these young, unsung heroes by completing the short nomination form below.

Nominations must be in by Sunday 3 March and the winner will be announced in April. They will be presented with their trophy at the Mayor's Ball and Civic Awards on Friday 19 April.
